THE HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION OF NORTHERN FINLAND |

The Historical Association of Northern Finland (HANF)
is a scholarly non-profit organization. The HANF was established in
1976 to promote historical research in Northern Finland. Its
activities include sponsoring meetings and conferences for the
exchange of scholarly view and disseminating historical knowledge
through publications.
Faravid is the fully peer-reviewed official yearbook of the Historical Association of
Northern Finland. Faravid encourages systematic study and research on
all aspects of history and welcomes contributions from historians and
representatives of other disciplines.
